Recipe of the Month: White Chocolate Lavender Fudge

 Fall is right around the corner and has us so excited for all the fun concoctions we can make with our lavender. Our harvest is beginning to wind down, and we love to spend the cooler days cooking up recipes with our dried culinary lavender.  This month, the recipe that comes to mind is this white chocolate lavender fudge. Fudge is a perfect recipe for this time of year as it makes for a yummy after school treat, a unique dessert to bring into the office, or even wrapped as a teacher appreciation gift. This recipe is a unique spin on classic chocolate fudge with a dash of our beautiful lavender. The culinary lavender gives this fudge a light purple hue and is an impressive treat whether it’s just for you or to share!  Ingredients: 14oz sweetened condensed milk ¼ cup heavy whipping cream 1 tbsp ground lavender 1 stick unsalted butter ¾ tsp kosher salt 1 bag white chocolate chips 1 jar marshmallow fluff  Directions: In a double boiler, stir in cream, condensed milk, ground lavender, butter, salt, white chocolate chips, and fluff. Stir until temperature is 240 F and almost boiling. Pour into greased 8x8 pan and chill in refrigerator until set. Cut into bite size squares. Serve and enjoy!
